Sketching, Sketching

Drawing the feeling of what I see is always a struggle but I'm glad I got to practice :)

Sketching in Downtown Seattle

Did some sketching in downtown. Super glad it was nice and sunny. It's true, when the sun comes out in Seattle everyone comes out of hibernation haha

Busing to Different Places

Drew some interesting people while busing around downtown Seattle :)

    

I tried to draw what I felt when I was observing each person. For example, in the second to the last drawing I felt that the person had a small forehead and a really long, pointy nose so I tried to emphasize that in the drawing.

Jazz Performance at Bake's Place

Girlfriend and I went to our first live jazz performance and it was pretty classy cool!

Got scared when the cello player came up to me after the performance. Turns out he just wanted to see what I drew and ended up liking it. Whew!

Story Portfolio 2013
