Philippines!

Went to the Philippines for my brother's wedding! Lots of great memories with the best family :)

Here are a few sketches I managed to squeeze in:

The 10 hour flight. Loved the movies!

 

Inside my grandma's house in Valenzuela.

Yes I had my nails done for the first time. Gosh it takes awhile to get em done!

My childhood home.

 Resort at Punta Fuego. Had less than 5 min. to draw before we had to leave. Man this place was awesome!

Guitar Ensemble and SIFF

 Went to a Guitar Ensemble performance and decided to draw some faces from the audience and musicians. What a great time to draw because of the classical music playing in the background :)

This guy had some skills.

Studied wrinkles for a bit to some success haha.

People are always on their phone..

Drew some faces in the audience while waiting for "Between Valleys" to play at SIFF. What a great, true-to-life film :)

Commute Sketching

Drawing the feeling of what I see is always a struggle but I'm glad I got to practice :)

Sketching in Downtown Seattle

Did some sketching in downtown. Super glad it was nice and sunny. It's true, when the sun comes out in Seattle everyone comes out of hibernation haha

Busing to Different Places

Drew some interesting people while busing around downtown Seattle :)

    

I tried to draw what I felt when I was observing each person. For example, in the second to the last drawing I felt that the person had a small forehead and a really long, pointy nose so I tried to emphasize that in the drawing.
