Week of 11-18-13 Healer and Savior
"But for you who fear my name, there will arise the sun of justice with its healing rays."- Mal 3:20
"What do you want me to do for you?”
He replied, “Lord, please let me see.”
Jesus told him, “Have sight.."
"...your faith has saved you.”
"He immediately received his sight..."
"...and followed him, giving glory to God." - Luke 18:41-43
"For the Son of Man has come to seek and save what was lost." - Luke 19:10
"[The mother] had scarcely finished speaking when the youth said:“What are you waiting for? I will not obey the king’s command. I obey the command of the law given to our fathers through Moses. But you, who have contrived every kind of affliction for the Hebrews, will not escape the hands of God.”- 2 Maccabees 7:30-31
"As he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes." - Lk 19:41-42
Jesus clung only onto God and His love for us. That's how He became our King. What are we clinging onto?
